As part of the Autumn 09 ICT SLDM 14 an Introduction to Functional Skills session was delivered to bring colleagues up to date with the FSSP in its final third year. Here you can view the presentations for sessions 1, 2, 3 and 4 and look through the handouts from the binder.  For a more detailed introduction you are advised to work through the CPD elearning module

The Appendix from the ICT SLDM 10 (Summer 08) also provides a brief introduction to FS.

To keep fully informed of FS developments regularly check the new FSSP website from where you can download the Awarding Bodies (AB) assessment summary.  Also keep an eye on the QCDA website as well as the AB websites.
