'Functional' Skills - your questions answered provides a useful introduction

Centres involved with the Gateways and exam board pilots recently attended the FSSP day1 and day2 CPD sessions on 12^th and 16^th July as preparation for the three year pilot. Details about functional skills can be found on the FS website and further information and resources relating to the days training can be found on the Secondary National Strategy website

The day 1 CPD focused on the FS ICT, maths, and English standards.  This colour coded version of the ICT standards shows the progression through levels Entry 3, Levels 1 and 2
