The thirteenth in the series of Subject Leader Development and network Meetings was held on Thursday 11th June at the ELC,  Cambridge.  The day focused on the four cornerstones of school improvement,  a model taken from the National Challenge toolkit.

Here you can view the presentation slides from session1 and 3 and read the notes.  Resources have been sent to the Strategy Managers of those Centres who were not able to attend.  The lessons video clips can be viewed from the SLDM 13 pack CD ROM which contains additional lessons extracts. 

The implications from the Rose review were also shared, with discussion focusing around the Essentials for Learning and Life, the Framework and the revised Level descriptors at KS2 (L1-L3)

The next SLDM14 Autumn 09 is on Tuesday 1 December 9.30 am - 3.30pm at the  ELC Cambridge.  The day will focus on Narrowing the Gap, APP and removing barriers to progress - please book your place now.
