Rafi.ki is an online learning community using simple technology to build successful school partnerships, transforming pupils into global citizens. Support for secondary schools is an established feature of Rafi.ki. An online community for primary schools is accessible on: http://www.rafi.ki/kidogo/
For secondary schools Silver membership is free. It does not give you full access to all the tools. Gold membership is £750 per annum and gives access to the full range of services.
For primary schools currently free Silver membership is available to enable you to find out about the site. Rafi.ki are developing support for primary schools.
Rafi.ki can work with you to improve any existing links or their dedicated team of facilitators will help you find new partners from more than a thousand schools from more than 100 countries.
Projects to cover all areas of the curriculum, from comparing carbon footprints to exploring cultural identity. Projects include lesson plans and resources.
Rafi.ki contains a range of communication tools you need to collaborate safely with other schools. These include video and audio conferencing, email, instant messaging and forums.
To ensure that Rafi.ki can only be accessed by teachers and pupils, the website is password protected and all members are vetted.
