Children and young people are particularly motivated by learning from real people about their lives, the places they live and their aspirations. Having a real audience for their work motivates children and young people to do their best.

There are a range of opportunities to link with schools abroad. This could be through short term ICT projects, longer term curriculum projects or 'mobility' projects (pupils, students or staff visiting a partner school).

Some opportunities make more demands than others. If you are new to school linking, start with a project that is manageable.
