As part of the Learning Directorate review Cambridgeshire Advisory Service (CAS) has undergone some key revisions to personnel, roles and responsibilities. See news link for the full update of CAS staff changes.
Nigel Battey has moved from CAS to become Senior Adviser in the new Networking and Partnerships Service. Mark Oliver and Carol Gronow jointly will be carrying out the role of Acting Team Manager, in the first instance from 1 September 2011 to 31 March 2012. Cambridgeshire Advisory Service (CAS) provides curriculum and workforce development support, advice and guidance and high quality continuing professional development opportunities for all who work in, or with, schools. This includes support for leadership, management and assessment; governor training; and school workforce development. CAS makes a significant contribution to the Local Authority's Children and Young People's Plan and the Local Authority's strategy for schools causing concern.
